I am a mature professional drummer/singer/entertainer. I have been playing drums since the late '60s. I am self-taught and play by ear. I enjoy pop, rock and country from the '50s through the '80s. I don't care for the really hard rock, metal, or most of today's "music".

For several years in the ‘70s, I played in cover bands doing those types of music and actually toured as a professional (my sole source of income) before getting married and settling down. I have kept in practice by playing along to recorded songs. I used to sing lead locals on Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, John Denver, etc. and harmonies on others. I was told my signing voice sounds like B. J. Thomas or Bobby Goldsboro.

In the mid-1970s I purchased a factory-new set of Big Beat blue Ludwig Vistalites. I played those for about ten years, but sold them and switched to Pearl DRUM-X electronics. I recently reacquired a Big Beat blue set to replace those from years ago. I use the Ludwig Speed King pedal, along with my hi-hat and two cymbals.

I am currently making my living again by playing music. I am the drummer/vocalist for the LINCOLN HIGHWAY Band, playing Classic Country and rockabilly songs. We were recently voted “Best Band” in our area for the sixth straight year. Our webpage is: http://lincoln-highway.com/index.shtml
