I received a 13" duco wfl tom today and the box was really heavy. come to find out the guy shipped a wood box inside a cardboard box. he said that when he bought the drum that's what it came in......any thoughts on this thing? its not marked. not sure if its worth anything to anyone who collects old drum stuff.
UPDATED PICS FROM INSIDE! I removed all the foam liners and found ink stamps on the wood and 2 actual stamps!!! im not a stamp guy....1932? 32 cents? one ink stamping says sept 27, 196?....so obviously not a factory made box because the wfl drum is from 1957. oh well...I thought it was a cool surprise, never have I been mailed a drum in an old wood box!!!!
