For the nostalgic Whitehall freaks , Original logo head. My first trip inside a music shop, local walking distance from my house Henrietta NY, the place was basically a converted house filled with new drums and guitars, probably '65 or '66. Place was packed with Whitehalls, Star, and a bunch of other imports, never forget that new kit smell! Lv at first site.

Glad he put "Condition is Used" in there who would have known ; )

One thing I never noticed you can't tune the bottom head from the bottom (If you wanted to) Never noticed the flat head on bottom of rods just flat buttons..

Is it the "nut" or small headed rod that tensions the top head? 3 ply.

I would love to own something like this, but comps are so few and far between I must say I don't know what a fair price would be. To me, if I had the cash, I'd jump on this one.

Hi JDA, ebay puts that "Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail" verbiage in the ad if you don't delete it from the "descripition" box. It is funny, though.

Anyone looking to finish off their silver sparkle Ludwig Keystone Clubdate with a 14 x 14, there is one on Reverb right now in very nice condition and sanely priced.

Slingerland snare 1970's Gene Krupa sound king 14"x6.5 (not mine) for local pickup (who knows, maybe they will ship it!) or for anybody in Florida $195 OBO. I'm assuming it's a good deal from what I saw around. I don't really know about Slingerland so here it is:

Sorry but this is a 90's import drum by MusicYo/Gibson. Fine drums but with a steel shell, not chrome over brass. Not a fantastic deal.

Like I said, I don't know Slingerland so that's why I posted it for you guys to decide. I saw it and the guy selling it posted it as a 70's Gene Krupa sound king and that's what I thought it was based on his post. I just sent the guy a message out of curiosity and he said the listing is a mistake LOL!

2/3 mint Slingerland set - 12 and 20" were 1965 and somewhat yellowed....out of New Jersey. The 13, 16 and metal snare were mid-70's. Owner bought those later drums and hardware and Zildjian cymbals brand new in the mid to late 70's....then wrapped them all up tight since 1980. Just took them out of 38 yr storage the past couple of weeks...assuming they would not be very nice. Surprise!....minty fresh hardware, stands, and cymbals! The floor tom and snare look killer with minimal fade and near perfect chrome. Sold today though. Asking price was $1000. The bass drum was originally a rail mount. Seller added the double mount when he bought the 2nd rack tom. Cool kit even for an altered one. And he did have those 2 missing bottom hoops.
