I'm restoring a 70's Gretsch bass drum and I'm also actively looking for vintage toms to purchase to complete a set. I want to re-wrap the bass drum in Grey Smoke Glass Glitter from Precision Drum. Due to the high cost in the Gretsch vintage market right now, I'm considering ordering brand new toms from Gretsch in Twilight Glass. Does anyone know how close the Twilight Glass Nitron is to Grey Glass Glitter? I have a sample of Grey Smoke and it looks like it could be close, but I've never seen Twilight Glass Nitron in person, only in pictures.

    Thanks,
    Steve

If you chat with your dealer, Gretsch should be able to verify if that's the same wrap, and if it's not, I bet they'll be willing to wrap your new toms in precision's wrap.

Thanks Aaron! I'll contact the dealer and see what they say.
