Has anybody seen this drum tuner?

    Answers:
    1. The base of the unit is just under 10" wide, and 4.75" deep, so I think it is too big to place on an 8" tom as it's intended to be used.
    2. Although I have rarely done it, you can flip the drum over and repeat the "clearing" of the lugs on the reso side.

    I have yet to buy a tuning gadget although I could see the need. I get frustrated with certain snares. My first concern is always feel. If the optimal tuning of a certain drum renders it like a formica table top or a wet bath mat, I’m out. No amount of gadgets will help.

    Thanks for the info. I guess that would not work for me. I have an 8" tom as part of my setup. I guess I will be looking at the Tunebot.
