    I'm running into problems with this site not redirecting to the https site. I'm logged in if I visit https site but not if I visit "www.drumforum.org" which goes to an http site. If I attempt to log in, it doesn't work. Only by manually typing https://www.drumforum.org can I log in (or already am).

    I do a lot of web searches that turn up dfo results and they all hit the http site - so they don't show me logged in, I can't see reply or see pictures, etc.

    I'm on Windows, using Firefox (currently 64.0b7), and I have a few extensions installed, like an adblocker (but dfo is whitelisted).

    Is it just me?

    An additional note: all the "home" links (e.g. the main Drumforum banner) link back to the http site, even when I'm on an https page. So I hit "home" and, suddenly, I'm not logged in anymore.

    I think this should be fixed server-side but here's a userscript (for GreaseMonkey/TamperMonkey) that fixes it for me:

    Code:
    // ==UserScript==
    // @name           DrumForum
    // @description Redirects dfo http to https
    // @namespace      zScript
    // @include        /^http\:\/\/www\.drumforum\.org\/.*$/

    // @version        1.0
    // @grant          none
    // ==/UserScript==

    (function() {
        'use strict';
           window.location.replace(window.location.href.replace(/^http:\/\//i, "https://"));
    })();

    I'm curious where this ticket/thread stands.

    I used the Contact Us link the other and reported this issue - i.e. that DFO was not redirecting HTTP traffic to HTTPS.

    I'm having the same problem. I can only log in if I fully type out the https://. If I don't, I can't log in.

    Another thing I just noticed, all the links in email notifications are http:// - I get logged out if I follow them.

    And I also just worked out that the reason I haven't been able to stay logged in for the last few weeks (?) despite that box being ticked is that my older bookmark went to the http: version of the address not the https: version. I twigged to what was going on when I followed URLs to here somebody had copied and pasted on another site and suddenly I did get back in automatically. Then I spotted the secure on the end. I've edited my bookmark and now I'm able to stay logged in again. I don't think my problems started in November 2018, more like mid December 2018. But my logbook doesn't tell me. It's really more for other sides I administer. So I suspect there was another small software change in December. But as to the status of the problem and whether anybody has tried to work on it? :dontknow:
