Just bought this based on the pics. The seller did not list it as a cob and it was priced like a typical 60s Super Sensitive. The shell looks clean like my other cobs and the badge, although dinged up does not seem to show a serial number. Muffler looks correct as well. Your thoughts?

I would say it is COB based on the old style lugs and how clean it is.

Brass shell has rolled in edge lip, as well as a seam....and, compare to later Imperial lugs...notice the difference?

Wow - wasn't think about most of the early posted details....thanks. I had a Supra once, red BB, no serial #, no pitting, crimped beds, but no flared lip and it was COA erroenously listed as COB and thus returned.

    Nice find here - I have both a pre-serial COB S.S. and a Supra too.....fantastic drums!

Just got it and it is definitely cob. Amazing condition and fully functional. The top hoop is cob and the bottom is not.
