I'm looking for the NE version of the Purecussion RIMS Headset - either a full kit or parts of a kit (toms, kick, or hardware).

If you have an older version, I'm interested in any of the hardware - tom arms, cymbal boom arms, headset clamps that attach to the legs of the headset to clamp the cymbal boom arms.

    Thanks,

    Brian

When i found the bass ,the outside hoop was gone,i cut down a 20" hoop, use it,works perfectly!
The bass is the weakest link, thats why i mic it to a powered sub woofer.
    Massive now!

    Thanks for your good wishes.

I have the oldest Headset version and thought of modifying it using a cut down 20" shell, but have never seen what the tuneable version looks like (photos on the net are not that clear), so a bit in the dark about how the tuning works on the NE version.

If you have a moment, a closeup photo of the bass drum edges would be very helpful.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Ive done that as well, Brian.
Cutting down a shell works fine for a bass as well.
The hoop is flat cut,no edge.
    Ill get a picture soon

The tuners ie PEGS work fine with the hoop.
I sent this pic to Gary Gauger yrs ago.
He put it on their website, they no longer make the extruded aluminum hoops so i used a wooden one.
Gary invented the RIMS mou ts and the Headset.
I had one of those as well, but, upgraded when he came out with the NE series.
    I love the kits.
People think theyre electronic or roto toms! Very unassuming, thats what i like about them plus they sound great!
Mic them up and they are monsters!
When i cut a 20" down,i put mounts for the toms on the bass.
Almost as compact, i used them this way in Alaska, transported great!
