Hi everyone, I have what I believe to be a big R super ten snare. Purchased with a complete set back around 1975~1976 time frame. Chrome over steel I think. The bearing edges have a couple of high spots on both the batter and resonate side making it difficult to tune. Does anyone know of a technique to true up the edges. I have trued the bearing edges on wood shells with some success in the past but working with metal drums are new to me. Any help or advice would be great.
    Thank You.

    Joe

Well I did some checking with Precision Drum Company in New York and they said they do mot have a way to true the bearing edge of a metal drum with a rolled edge. Time for plan be I guess.
