Looking for my fellow Slingerland guys to help me with this, I can't put my hands on my Slingerland book at the moment. I found a snare for sale with this badge and if I recall correctly, it was from the Gretsch/HSS era. However I don't know for SURE whether this badge was put on imported drums or not, since Vintage Drum Guide online says it was on imported drums. Does anyone know?

One site says they're from '80s (guessing late '80s) imports.

I had one of the HSS snares once. Same badge, and it was definitely an import (still had the Made in China or Taiwan sticker inside the shell, IIRC).

That is from an HSS-era Artist Classic Series. Not bad drums, but nothing collectable.
