Stadium New York drums?

    Anybody heard of or know anything about this brand? A friend of mine just picked up a set from a thrift shop for $50.

    Here are the pics he sent me via text message. I'm not sure what all he got. I know he mentioned a floor tom that was Ludwig and the rest is this "Stadium New York" brand...

    Looks like an MIJ Slingerland knock-off kit. Love the random name.

    Maybe it's not so random; maybe they were made & named right after The Beatles played at Shea Stadium. Maybe.

    MIJ. I had a Stadium snare in blue sparke once. Was almost an exact copy of a Slingerland, with more details copied than some later MIJ copies. Thin shells with re-rings. Sounded OK, nothing special.
