    no Rogers, but they actually play.... and Mark has hair AND biceps!

    They are Eddie Ryan customs Pick Withers always used them , except for some tv stuff

    Best version.



    I noticed some drummers (even the latest years when Mark play’s the song) play the rhythm without swing. That sounds sooooo weird. I know it takes a lot of energy to whip this song out in swing but it has to be done to make it work as it was meant to be.

    No doubt, a "mimed" performance using the TV studio's gear. "Top Pop" I think was a Dutch program. John Mellencamp appeared on the same show in 1978, and Tom Knowles was using the same Mojave Red Rogers kit.

    That's the version I tend to migrate too. I like it with the straight beat too. The keyboard player makes me chuckle.
