I was browsing drum listings on Christmas after the kids went to bed, and found two amazing drums the same night! Here they are! A 6.5” Big R Superten, one owner, almost mint, and a 63 Clockface Powertone, one owner, almost mint, with serial number 2165. All previously published research puts the transition from B & B lugs and tallboy hoops to beavertails and regular hoops at around 2300 so to say this is an early transitional drum is an understatement! More pics to follow.
