Not only is Buddy's splash gone but his left side crash looks like a 16 when he almost exclusively used two 18s, so that's somewhat odd, too.

That's Howard Brush in the ad, a local drummer in Ohio that Rogers used for many catalog photos.

First pic is Buddy at Newport, though...

I had always thought it was Bob McKee from Cleveland who just recently passed away. He was also an endorser.

That is Bob. He gave me this flier before he passed away. I don't know if it was ever distributed. He gave me this album at the same time. He's playing a beauty of a BDP Rogers kit. P1020245.JPG

That's a very cool piece of memorabilia. I have never seen that flier.

I stand corrected. I was using the Rogers Book as a reference...

I love that picture of Buddy. I always felt his Rogers were his best sounding kits.
Never saw that album with Bob McKee, he had great stories of him and Hal Blaine when they went to drum school together. I helped Bob on occasion being his "roadie" when he had to use his own kit, a Rogers, Cleveland iI believe, with an 18" bass drum. I wonder what happened to his drums after he passed?
