Unusual Rogers kit on eBay

    A pair of 18x20 kicks......and a 20x18 floor tom. Someone liked that size.

    I built an 18x22 last year, it looks huge - like those.

    I have no doubt that these are legit, and I would love to know what Rogers charged the original buyer (Mr Ship) for those custom sized bass drums...

    Today, many kits from different manufacturers are available in those sizes, things have changed...

    I don't like 18" deep bass drums, but I love the look of those!

    These are the two double bass kits that Rogers offered in the 67 catalog, one with virgin bass drums and the other with one mounted tom. I noticed that the tom mounts on this kit are located directly behind the script badge and centered on the top of the shells, so it wasn't modified from either of these kits.
    Interesting kit, that's for sure.

    Are those 18" deep.....or 20" deep?

    Just noticed that a "no leg" hi hat package came with that kit too. Legs fully retracted and a bar mounted from the kick for support.

    i just picked up a Rogers Big R 20" floor tom that has been turned into a BD. Must be the weather.
