Did a gig with a new-to-me band today.Been playing on their Alesis kit at our two practices. They were kinda surprised at the difference in my playing on my set, compared to the electronics. And shocked it's a 50yr old plus set. I wasn't. What a great playing, versatile set. Bought from a forumite as a project set. Used it last Sunday with a worship gig. This gig went from Tom Petty, to Electric Avenue. And it was fun! Think I may have to pursue this one for a while. Fun diversion from my original jazz gig. And, my wife really liked it!
