I have a (diameter/depth) 22x20 Orion bass drum in Wine Burl Burst lacquer finish that I would like to trade for the same, in size 20x16, 20x18, or 22x16 (in order of preference). I figure we can just trade bare shells (and hoops/ITS mounts, if you have a 20") to save on shipping charges. Hit me up with what you've got!

    Here's mine:

I know. It's a beautiful kit (12x8, 15x15, and this behemoth), and I'd love to take it to some of my nicer gigs! But that bass drum... Maybe I'm a weenie, but I max out at 16" depth on a 22". Anything deeper just becomes a hassle to get through doorways, and up narrow stairwells.

IMG_1097.jpg IMG_1098.jpg I had a 22x20 and was just too much to transport, it was really heavy and if you put it in a hard case you're taking up half the car/van load. I had it cut down to a 22x15 and loved it. With the extra shell material that was cut, I put the Inde mounts and spurs on it and I now use it as a lower volume practice bass drum or I can turn the mounts vertical and use it as a "gong" bass drum.
