Packing the Ebenor Elm STAVE KIT for its maiden live voyage. This monday July 7th, my band is up to its biggest concert to date, we are headlining the main stage at FEQ in Québec City. Fingers crossed for clement weather.

William from Ebenor is building me a one-off Heavy Feather kit (Aluminum) wrapped in Gold Glass. I want something impervious to the elements but that still gels with my band's retro visuals. Apparently wrap adds a lot of warmth to Aluminum shells. He just received this from Precision this afternoon...

This is gonna be a killer looking kit...

Oh, its not mine... it's truly just a random drum porn pic I had on my phone. I am guessing it was bent by Micah at Cask but I'm not even sure of that. I think its one of the most beautiful shells I've ever seen!

LP's new Vibra-Slap III, designed to be either hand-held or mounted to a stand and played with a stick. I don't actually have a need for a stand-mounted, stick-playable Vibra-Slap these days, but I once did, so if I ever do again, I'll be ready!
