Man, two dogs is hard. Three? Holy Moly! But it’s a lot of fun. We drove 200 miles yesterday down the Five (Hiway 5) to meet a lady who was giving up her six year old Havanese pup, Zeus. Really, a lovely dog. Healthy and full of pep (almost too much). We’re having fun with it. Our two are handling the new addition well, with an occasional skirmish.

I originally was confused at why someone could give a family member away but we came to find out, her husband killed himself last year and her job which requires a lot of travel made it the only option. Perfect opportunity for us to get him ready for his next forever home.

Oh, and he’s a humping boy. Yes, he’s fixed but it comes because of nerves and show his dominance in the new home. He’s a good boy and responds to NO!

This Friday, my wife will take the boys to an outdoor venue I’m playing. It’ll be a kick!

My girl has her eye on a red Doberman pup to be a little brother to our grown black and rust male.

These dogs never stop! So much energy

Oh man, that's awesome! Good on you guys for being a well needed stepping stone for some of these critters. Id be too much of a sucker to foster, id want to keep them all.

Exactly how we acquired our first dog, Oscar. He was our first foster and he became a Foster Failure. I caved the day before he was to be adopted. 16 years old.

Good on ya, Dan.

We have a third dog at our place for a week while the owners are on their way to Hawaii tomorrow. (If Hawaii is still there tomorrow.)

Three hundred pounds of Pyrenees and Rottweiler!

Nice! I follow a local cat rescue on instagram and see all the cats up for adoption everyday. I always think, can I take one more in….
I have 3 already, so probably not now.
