A&F have a definite vibe, and it’s outside the box. They make several models with unusual dimensions, not necessarily designated for specific purposes.

I don't think they have a specific use per se. I used this drum for a number of years with brushes and it provided significant volume on stage. Great drum

I’d rather have this than yet another hi end snare that pretty much sounds like the others …..
