It looks like these guys have been around since about 2018, but I just found out about them. I was looking through the pics that INDe posted from the Chicago drum show and saw a clap stack that looked intriguing. The logo on the bass drum head said Creative Percussion.

They have some beautiful gear! I love their clapstacks and they have a hex stack with holes that sounds amazing. They also have some great sounding maple pancake snares. I think some of the sounds are an acquired taste...but still very interesting. Some of it reminds me of the old Hammerax stuff.

Now if they bring in something like the liquacy cymbals, I'd be placing an order right now!

I recently purchased their soft European felt bass drum beater and it is awesome!!! If you like warm, boomy, low-end bass drum strikes, then this is the beater for you. Will definitely purchase again. I ordered it through Virtue Drum shop.

Kevin and Cheri are amazing people! We met them at the Delaware Drum Show several years ago... Kevin is an amazing player and inventor. If you ever get a chance to see their gear at any drum show, spend some time ....really spend it...there are some truly amazing things that they make. I own a popcorn snare and a couple of their drum tacos ( mufflers) and an adjustable ( for cymbal diameter) cymbal sizzler....

I have a big honkin steel cymbal from him. I think it’s a 26”. Unfortunately I can’t convince the band mates to let me use it. lol.

I live in the same area as Kevin, I’ve know hm for years and he’s a great guy!
I’ve been using some of his creations for a while now including-
The twist rods rock model, lotus jingle with dual spring clutch and drum taco for my snare when I have to play softer for dinner type gigs..
All these items are amazing especially the twist rods which have an excellent feel and last longer than any other rod type sticks I’ve ever used!
