Hey all,

About two weeks back I pulled all of my cymbals out of storage, polished them up, and am slowly getting the kit ready to play again. In the past, I NEVER had anything to store my cymbals in. Lame, to be sure, but I always wrapped them in cushiony wool blankets to transport them. So, I'd like to buy a "case", not a bag, as I'd like to have them all together, and I have 9 of them and they are weighty. So, I want a "rolling" case, as I do not want to have to carry it. These are my cymbals:

• Zildjian 20" Medium Ride
• Zildjian 14" hi-hats
• Paiste 3000 Power Crash 18"
• Paiste 2002 Heavy Crash 18"
• Paiste 3000 China Type 18"
• Paiste 3000 Power Crash 16"
• Paiste 3000 Rude Splash 12"
• Paiste 3000 Splash 8"

So I was on Sweetwater and saw this, but it's expensive...this might be the one though:
Meinl Cymbals Professional Cymbal Case - Red, 22 inches

Then I was over on Amazon and saw this....it claims it can hold 10 cymbals:
C1000T 22" Rolling Cymbal Case

Anyway, looking for something nice that wont easily fall apart and can roll w/handle.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've only used SKB cymbal cases. Good quality. Got them used for around $50-$60 when I needed them.....no wheels though.
Comfortably held up to 5 cymbals..........20,18,16, hi hats. Whatever you need, I'd look for lightly used items. Why be the one to pay
$200 for a new case only to resell it down the road for $50-$75 when you're done with it?

Another option is buy a couple of regular used cymbal bags and transport them on an inexpensive baggage cart with bungy chords.....
all used of course....probably around $75 total.

In my experience, The only cases that will hold 9 cymbals are custom made flight cases. I have a Humes & Berg rolling cymbal case, SKB in the past. Both will hold 5-6 max. I see the ones you listed say 9 and 10, but I’d be a bit skeptical.

Unless you are flying, I’d recommend a bag. I gig most every weekend, and use the Ahead cymbal case with wheels. I get 9 in the bag often.

LOL, maybe I just need to keep them wrapped in wool blankets.
It was never convenient in the past, but it worked.

If it's just for storage, I'd just use 2-3 cheap, used bags.
Bag 1: Crashes
Bag 2: Rides/Hats
Bag 3: FX
