I’m trying hard to remember the Bonham comment I made , I can’t recall anyone ever saying I sound like him ??
 
I find myself phrasing things more like Phil Collins than any other drummer, so probably him. But I'd love to be able to play as much as effortlessly Vinnie or Akira Jimbo
 
First, I didn’t say YOU said you play like Bonham, I said someone told you they thought you played like him..

Second, do I really live so rent free in you and Steech’s head that the two of you have spent hours searching for the thread where you said it?

Third, this thread was nothing more than a fun little thing about who you could play like if you could play like someone else. Even you said it was “silly”. But you had to write a 6 paragraph lecture on how we shouldn’t want to emulate anyone taking the fun out of the whole thing.

I never said anyone said I sounded like Bonham …
And IF I did what’s wrong with that ?


I never said anyone shouldn’t try to emulate someone , I don’t know how you came to that conclusion.

Still wish I could play like any of them with a little Vinnie thrown in.
Now that doesn’t look so hard, does it.

And making stuff up doesn’t really help your case.
