Another interesting fact about the drums is they were played on a Samara Joy concert just a month or so before she won her first Grammy for jazz album and new artist of the year in 2023. The rental company handling her rider asked if they could rent the kit from me because her drummer liked to play USA Customs, and they wanted to save having to bring a kit from Austin. Only time I have let someone else play them but a cool story.
